Artificial Music: A New Low For The Music Industry?

In an industry where greedy executives try every tactic in the book to make money by any means, artificial intelligence has made their wildest dreams come true. We don’t ACTUALLY need Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, or John Lennon to be alive to make classic albums and songs when you have artificial intelligence that can IMPERSONATE their voices. The consumers will never know and care as long as it sounds good and undeniable right?

People have been making their own versions of artificial songs with the voices of other artists. Let’s take the song: ‘’Say So’’ by Doja Cat for example. That’s a song recorded by Doja Cat but with the magical abilities of artificial intelligence that song can now be covered by the one and only Whitney Houston.

But what if Doja Cat never released: Say So? What if that song was released by Whitney Houston instead and presented as a posthumous song that she made before passing away? What if the music industry has been using artificial intelligence for posthumous songs and albums all along without the consumer knowing of its existence?

Music is an art form that comes from the soul and music industry executives tend to not give TWO SHITS about the creative process but more about making money. Artificial intelligence has now come in between the artist and the music industry executives and has opened an entirely new market. But is SOULLESS and FAKE music really worth consuming?

But hey as long as we can have a collab song with Michael Jackson, Pink Floyd, BTS, Ja Rule, Kelly Clarkson, Slipknot, Ice Spice, and Beethoven or a new artificial Frank Ocean album with features from Bob Marley, Prince, Kurt Cobain and The Notorious B.I.G. Who cares right? As long as money is being made for the sake of entertainment right?
