Welcome to the universe of “Euphoria,” which strives to convince viewers that life as a teenager revolves around glitter, neon lights, and ENOUGH DRAMA to put Shakespeare to shame.
In Euphoria it looks like high school students have an unlimited budget for anything. That’s no wonder because most of the cast members represent teenagers who are rich and spoiled but somehow live in a world of struggle and emotional meltdowns. “Euphoria” presents us with an alternate reality that makes the Kardashians’ lives seem mundane. The hype and success that Euphoria has is very understandable. People love sensation, drama, and a WHOLE LOT OF FUCKERY!
The plot revolves around: Rue played by Zendaya, a teenage junkie who has never heard of the word: ‘’accountability’’. Her goal in this show is to basically try every drug that exists before overdosing. It’s a high school show where you can COMPLETELY FORGET about teachers, exams, and college applications; these teenagers are too busy partying. Because, really, who needs a high school education when you can party your whole life away?
The characters in Euphoria want to FUCK AROUND (literally) but not necessarily find out. But who cares right? It’s not as if anyone is going to hold you accountable anyways! Do all the drugs that exist in the world and have unprotected sex. That’s what high school is about, isn’t it?
